In a normal classroom, students are taught the lesson during class, then go home and work out problems. In a flipped classroom, students watch their lessons at home, and work problems during class the next day. This way, they can ask the teacher questions while they are working the problem.
The Steinbrenner Flipped Classroom app allows easy access to the videos, all created by teachers, when on campus. The Flip the Classroom project is led by Mr. Colangelo.
All videos are created by the teachers of Steinbrenner High School. The app was created by the Steinbrenner Blue Hats, a technology club. Ask Mr. Colangelo in the media center for more details.
